Kooddoo-Male (Deep South)
The same day as your arrival, or after an overnight stay in Malé, you will board a domestic flight to Koodoo, where you will board the boat. We then sail all the way up to Malé, from where you can either fly home or continue your adventures independently in the Maldives. This route offers an optimal diving experience, covering the best dive sites from the deep south of the Maldives all the way up to Malé, where the cruise concludes.
The highlight of the trip is diving with tiger sharks at Fuvahmulah. Fuvahmulah is home to the world's largest known population of tiger sharks and the only known mating site for both tiger sharks and thresher sharks. You will encounter the majestic tiger sharks on nearly every dive! Other common species you may encounter include barracudas, whale sharks, hammerhead sharks, mola molas, oceanic whitetip sharks, and mantas.
Dive into the breathtaking Shark Point, known as the "Shark Hotel," to witness the graceful grey reef sharks. Encounter Hawksbill and Green Sea Turtles at Turtle Point, and explore the diverse marine life in the Kandu Huraa region, which offers mantas, hammerhead sharks, turtles, and rays across four captivating dive sites. Immerse yourself in the splendor of the Maldives' aquatic realm.
