Raja Ampat & Halmahera

Raja Ampat – World-Class Diving

There are few places on Earth that can compare to Raja Ampat when it comes to underwater beauty. Spectacular is the only word to describe the diving here. The coral reefs teem with life, where marine species thrive from the seafloor all the way up to the surface. The dive sites are so pristine and covered in coral growth that underwater photographers can hardly find a place to rest their hand.

Every part of the National Park offers experiences that impress. In southern Misool, you encounter colorful soft corals, reef sharks, and mobula rays. In the heart of the Dampier Strait, at the dive sites Cape Kri and Blue Magic, large schools of fish swim close to reef sharks and manta rays.

Further west, pristine coral gardens and the iconic lagoon of Penemu await, where you can also climb to an observation point to take in the magnificent view. To the north, Kawe offers even more chances to dive with manta rays, while Aljui Bay is a true treasure trove for macro enthusiasts.

Damai I and Damai II offer exclusive liveaboard adventures from Sorong for those who want to explore this magical part of Indonesia in complete comfort. For a complete Papua experience, this route can also be combined with diving in Triton Bay and Cenderawasih Bay, where whale sharks and unique underwater landscapes await. Join us on a liveaboard to Raja Ampat – a diving paradise where every moment is a new discovery.

Halmahera – An Untouched Diving Paradise

Located north of the Banda Sea, in the heart of the Coral Triangle, Halmahera is a fairly unexplored diving destination with volcanic islands, pristine white sand beaches, and mangrove forests.

Halmahera is situated in northern Indonesia, between the world-renowned diving destination Raja Ampat to the east and Sulawesi to the west. Despite its fantastic marine life and untouched reefs, Halmahera has long been a hidden gem for divers, but it has recently begun to be discovered as one of the region’s most exciting diving destinations.

Here you will find an outstanding variety of underwater experiences – from impressive wrecks and spectacular hard coral gardens to world-class macro diving sites.

Our liveaboard to Halmahera is designed to take you to every corner of this remote and untouched archipelago. The area, which consists of volcanic islands, pristine white beaches, and dense mangrove forests, offers diving that is as unique as it is versatile.

In southern Bacan, steep underwater walls await, where schools of barracudas and predatory fish patrol the reef. The islands of Goraici are home to enormous bait balls and large schools of reef fish. At the docks in Makian and Leilei, macro divers can search for rare critters and exotic underwater creatures.

This region is still relatively unexplored, and we are convinced that the best discoveries are still ahead of us. Join us on an exclusive liveaboard expedition that combines Halmahera’s unique underwater world with diving in Raja Ampat, for an unforgettable journey through some of Indonesia’s most pristine and spectacular dive sites.
